A design-led studio for the whole home
We combine interior design, building trades, safety engineering and financing guidance so one team owns the outcome — not five companies blaming each other.
We started because homeowners were managing the arguments between trades.
Home Wonder Build grew out of a simple frustration: a family would hire a designer, then a builder, then an electrician, then a roofer, and end up unpaid, untrained and exhausted as the project coordinator. Nobody owned the whole outcome.
So we built a studio where the people who draw the plan sit beside the people who install it. Interiors, exteriors, gardens, roofing, solar, windows, flooring, bathrooms, security and fire safety are planned together, sequenced properly, and delivered by a team that answers to one project lead.
We also handle the unglamorous side — the loan paperwork a lender wants to see, the warranty registration nobody remembers, the maintenance note that stops a small problem becoming a large one. That is what makes a renovation hold its value.
Make good renovation boringly predictable.
Not dull work — a dull process. Clear scope, honest estimates, tidy sites, and a handover where nothing is a surprise. That is the experience we are chasing on every project.
Our promise
If we cannot do something properly, we will say so and point you to someone who can. We would rather lose a job than overpromise on it.
Craft over shortcut
Preparation, waterproofing, levelling and fixings are where quality actually lives. We refuse to hide poor work behind a nice finish.
Plain language
No jargon, no vague allowances. You get drawings, samples and a schedule you can read without a dictionary or a lawyer.
Respect for the site
Your home is not a building site to us. Protection, daily cleaning and considerate hours are written into every plan.
Build for efficiency
We recommend upgrades that reduce running costs and improve comfort, and we will tell you honestly when the maths does not work.
Safety by design
Security, fire detection and escape planning are treated as design requirements, not optional extras added at the end.
Finish what we start
Snag lists are closed out, warranties are registered, and we come back after you have lived in the space for a while.
Four stages, no black boxes
Every project, large or small, follows the same route. It keeps costs honest and lets you join or pause at any stage.
Listen & survey
A visit, measurements, photographs and honest questions about how the space is used, what must stay and what budget feels comfortable.
Design & price
Layout options, material boards and a line-item estimate with good, better and best alternatives so you control where the money goes.
Build & coordinate
One project lead runs trades, deliveries, inspections and the schedule, and reports progress at every stage change in writing.
Handover & aftercare
Room-by-room walkthrough, material care guide, warranty registration, snag closure and a follow-up visit once you have settled in.
The people who will actually be in your home
A small senior team, supported by vetted specialist trades we have worked alongside for years. You will know their names before work begins.

The compliment we hear most often
It is rarely about the finish — it is about not having to think about the project. We measure our success by how little our clients had to manage.
Read our guides →They rebuilt our bathroom and refloored the hallway in one visit plan. I went to work, came home, and it was simply further along each day.
The roof and solar were sequenced so scaffolding only went up once. Nobody else we spoke to had thought to plan it that way.
What sold us was the honesty about financing. They explained loan options and warranty cover without pushing a single product.
Security and fire safety were designed in while the walls were open, so nothing looks bolted on afterwards. That was worth everything.
Bring us the project nobody else wanted to coordinate.
Multiple trades, tight access, an old building, a nervous household — that is exactly the kind of work we set up the studio for.
